To ensure a smooth production under the demanding conditions in conveying engineering or driving technology, the highly stressed shaft connections must be maintained and repaired every now and then. The core component is an improved generation of Shrink Discs® - the RfN 4061 series. The classic Smart-Lock system already boasts a unique concept and an outstanding fabrication quality. Nevertheless, when it comes to quality, the new generation could even be taken to the next level with new material that increases its resistance. The original Smart-Lock system was virtually indestructible, but now RINGFEDER has been able to certify its Shrink Discs® for even higher torques. Even under extreme production conditions, RINGFEDER's customers can totally rely on the appliance.

Instead of using Molycote grease, the component parts of the second generation Smart-Lock have been coated with a special slip coating which reduces friction. This allows easier handling during installation - a very clean solution. In addition, the aseptic and absolutely stainless material makes it possible to use Smart-Lock in food processing facilities. In its appearance, the 4061 series can be distinguished from the previous model by a golden-colored screw. This is the product’s trademark and at the same time expresses its outstanding quality.

The Smart-Lock set, consisting of the Smart-Lock Shrink Disc® and an assortment of cylindrical sleeves, saves space in the warehouse and manages to reduce downtimes to a minimum. The set can be adapted to various shaft diameters, thus guaranteeing perfect connections. This means that one and the same Shrink Disc® can be used for different solid shaft diameters.
