High-Precision Positioning Systems
Driven positioning systems are for instance used in pharmaceutical research laboratories and medical treatment instruments and must meet enormous requirements with regard to precision, compactness and lightness. This also applies to clean room applications and to the use in vacuum. Especially for this purpose, RINGFEDER® has designed a powerful miniature shaft coupling of special materials including metal bellows and a specially designed connection between the hub and bellows – to the utmost satisfaction of the client.
Locking Device for Minimum Shaft Diameter
In the field of medical technology, usually the smallest components are required. This specific application requires miniature belt pulleys of aluminium. In close collaboration with the customer, RINGFEDER® designed a quick locking assembly for a shaft diameter of only five millimetres, actuating extreme pressure on the driven belt pulley. The locking assembly can be mounted and dismounted easily via a central nut and systematically prevents the adverse deformation of the belt pulley.
